How it began…

The first time a held a DSLR camera was right before my youngest sister was born 8 years ago. It belonged to my parents, but I started to find myself using it more than they did. Something about it felt right. I loved taking photos of family, friends, the seasons as they changed, my pets—pretty much anything & everything. I started becoming very passionate about it and BOOM. Here I am. Finally getting a website up and attempting to expand something that started out as a hobby, but progressed into something more. Nothing grand, yet. But who knows? :) I’m 25 years old. If I sit and really think about it, I still have much to learn. But, I also know that you learn the most when you’re out there doing and experiencing it.

It can be scary and unnerving to go after something when you’re unsure if your efforts will be worth it in the end. But I believe that if God has given you the ability, He can take you all the way and it’d be a shame not to pursue it with everything you’ve got!

I love people and to be asked to capture their special events, accomplishments, celebrations, or whatever it may be, is a blessing! It’s a beautiful thing when we come together and celebrate the happiness of others. It’s something I find immense joy in. I thank those who have allowed me the opportunity to capture their moments.
